You will be able to work either at home or in the office. Office attendance on the first day is necessary to collect equipment and do introductions.

This role provides information governance assurance to the client, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and best practices.

As a point of contact you will provide Data Protection advice to colleagues at all levels; providing advice on Freedom of Information requests, sharing and disclosure of personal information requests, data breach recording and when necessary liaising with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

You will join a team of experienced data protection professionals and contribute to the management and development of the information assurance framework and support team members and colleagues.

We’re looking for a candidate with:

Knowledge and experience of giving advice related to data protection legislation.
A relevant qualification or certification in data protection legislation or information governance or working towards obtaining a qualification/certification.
Ability to communicate at all levels, giving practical data protection advice and guidance.
