Excellent use of IT needed inc Email, Word, Database and ideally MS Teams.
Attention to detail is a must in this job role.

Role is mainly home based but one day per week in office in Bournemouth.
Training for 2 weeks at client offices.
Small supportive team.
Some phone work and TEAMS calls to support Hiring managers.

Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00

$14.58 per hour.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of an efficient and professional HR service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and advise to our customers including business areas within the councils, trading companies and schools or academies
  • Support the HR function with all administrative tasks that assist in the efficient delivery of services to customers, including billing
  • Coach managers in the operation of HR systems and processes that ensure the effective maintenance of employment details throughout the employee lifecycle, including temporary staff and agency workers
  • Producing contracts and correspondence in relation to employees and temporary staff
  • Provide advice to customers and candidates about employment legislation and local policies relating to temporary staff
  • To support the successful advertising of posts and the recruitment of new staff, producing accurate and timely recruitment correspondence and record keeping
  • Complete, or ensure the completion of, all necessary stages in order to comply with statutory checks and registrations
  • Assist the Temporary Staffing Co-ordinator in setting up and conducting temp interviews, confirming placements and timesheet input to ensure correct payments to temporary staff
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers to assist with the generation of commercial opportunities and income
  • Establish constructive, seamless working relationships with other teams in HR.

Specific Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of delivering Recruitment, HR, or Payroll in a public sector or corporate environment

Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to either their own car or a pool car in order to undertake the duties of the role, unless other forms of transport are available and viable to perform the role.
